For the first time ever, this Historic Ferrari 430 GT was produced in Maranello in 2005 and delivered on the 13th of February 2006. Chassis #2406 had a very successful history competing in only 13 Races in total, achieving 5 Wins, 7 Poles and 7 Podiums. Chassis #2406 was instrumental in Risi Competizione becoming the 2006 ALMS Team Champions and in 2007 the ALMS, Team, Driver and netting Ferrari a Manufacturers Championship! This Chassis has been in storage with Risi Competizione since it's last race in June 2007.
With victories at Salt Lake City, Portland, Mosport, Laguna Seca and with the most notable victory being the 2007 12 Hours of Sebring with Drivers Mika Salo, Jamie Melo & Johnny Mowlem. Melo qualified on pole, but was moved to the back of the field for having to change tires after qualifying. The three Risi Competizione Drivers were able to work their way to the front. On the 330th and last lap of the race for the GT2 Victory, Jamie Melo and Jorg Bergmeister were battling door to door for the entire final lap and recorded one of the closest, exciting finishes in the 12 Hours of Sebring History. Jamie Melo won the race by .202 of a second with Bergmeister and Porsche in second.
